Dan Studt, President FICM-USA
Dan Studt is the President of Freedom in Christ Ministries-USA. Dan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Messiah College (1993) and a Master of Divinity degree at Palmer Theological Seminary (then Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary) in 1999. He served in pastoral ministry for 25 years as a youth and family pastor, and then as a church planter. In those roles, he loved developing leaders, leading mission trips, and helping people learn how to live freely submitted to God and His Word, so that the light of Christ may shine brightly in this world through His Church.
In addition, Dan has worked in school and hospital settings utilizing his degree in psychology. It was in those settings the Lord called and confirmed his call to full-time ministry in order to integrate the spiritual aspects of wholeness and healing into his work with people. Through being personally impacted by Freedom in Christ Ministries in the mid-nineties, to teaching the biblical principles in churches throughout the years, Dan has not only utilized the Ministry’s materials, but also applied them personally.
Dan served as the Northeast Director of FICM from November 2009 until December 2015. He then joined FICM Field Staff on a part-time basis from January 2016 until May 2019. During these years, Dan built a team of FICM leaders in the Northeast who continue the ministry there now that Dan is in the role of President of FICM-USA. Dan also serves as the North American and Caribbean Area Director. This position is for the purpose of communicating between the ministries in the NAC area and the International Ministry leadership.
Dan enjoys teaching FICM seminars and leading people through The Steps to Freedom in Christ. His primary focus in serving as President is to promote and develop leaders across the nation to take the message of freedom into churches and communities across the country.
Dan and his wife Jen have four children and currently live in Knoxville, Tenessee with their two teen sons, Elijah and Jacob, and Jen’s parents, Rick & Kathy. Jen is an elementary teacher at Concord Christian School. Abigail (older daughter) married Adam and moved to Louisville where she serves as a nurse while Adam studies for his Master of Divinity degree and serves as a youth pastor. Rebecca (younger daughter) graduated from Liberty University and got married in May, 2021. She and her husband Chris live in Lynchburg, Virginia where Chris serves on staff with LU Send, the division of Liberty University that plans mission trips for students. Becca is utilizing her communications degree in a private insurance company in their hometown. Dan enjoys outdoor fitness activities including running and hiking. He and his sons completed the Adirondack 46ers High Peaks and now look forward to hiking the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee.

Vision: He has been involved in multinational teaching and ministry with Freedom in Christ and has a passion for mentoring, counseling and teaching with the FIC material. John has served on the board since 1996.
Credentials: John received his bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College, medical degree from Hahnemann Medical College, Philadelphia, did his residency at Children’s National Medical Center, Washington, DC and Pediatric Intensive Care Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital.
John works as a Pediatric Intensive Care physician at Children’s Hospital Minnesota. He has been the chief of the Critical Care Division. He has co-authored the textbook in Critical Care titled “Critical Care of Infants and Children.” He has done multiple Christian and medical missions trips throughout Latin America, China and India.

Scott was first introduced to the FICM ministry in 2002 when Rich Miller led the church leadership team through “Setting Your Church Free” followed by a community wide “Breaking the Chains” conference. After these two events, the leadership team and congregation experienced a deep sense of personal humility and God’s grace, ministry focus and God’s power, as well as corporate unity and God’s presence. Scott joined the FICM board in 2007.
Scott Holmquist currently serves as the Executive Director of the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Library’s core message is the Gospel’s transforming power in a life that says yes to Jesus Christ.
Prior to his current role, Scott served as the Deputy Director and Communications and Special Projects Manager for the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, a ministry of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, at the International Headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina. Previously Scott was the Executive Director at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville, North Carolina. While in Asheville, he was also ordained to the Gospel Ministry of Jesus Christ.
Scott’s early ministry years were on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ (CRU) at their San Bernardino, California International Headquarters working in print media and video production. His lifelong desire is to communicate, inspire, and equip others toward personal Christian maturity and spiritual multiplication for the glory of God.
With a passion for the local church, Scott currently is on the Leadership Team and facilitates a Discipleship Group at Real Life Church in Stanley, North Carolina. Prior to that he served for 24 years in various teaching and leadership roles at Bent Creek Baptist Church in Asheville, North Carolina. While in California, Scott and his wife, Corinne, served for years with the collegiate ministry of Highland Evangelical Free Church before being called as founding members of the Japanese Christian Church of the Inland Empire.
Scott graduated with a BA in Journalism from St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. Scott and his wife Corinne have been married since 1981 and have two adult, married children.

Vision: Russ and his wife Patricia (Patti) were introduced to Freedom In Christ Ministries in 1992 through Neil Anderson’s books “Victory Over The Darkness” and “The Bondage Breaker” and through attending Neil’s conference in Nashville, Tennessee. Their lives were forever changed as they came to more fully understand their identities in Christ and the ongoing spiritual battle for our minds. They then coordinated Neil’s first conference in Knoxville, Tennessee in 1993, and soon after receiving Encourager training from Ron and Carole Wormser, they began traveling with the conference team, whenever possible, to assist with freedom appointments. Russ was asked to join the FICM Board of Directors in 2001 when the Ministry headquarters moved to Knoxville, and he has served on the Board since then. They are excited to be part of FICM-USA and its vision to establish active Community Freedom Ministries throughout the United States.

Dr. Jonathan Carl

After growing up in the great state of Texas, Jonathan found himself in Kentucky after marrying his wonderful wife Brittney. Several years later he became the Lead Pastor at South Fork Baptist Church in Hodgenville, KY where he now serves. Jonathan served in the U.S. Army as a Tanker and completed a tour in Iraq in the early 2000s. He earned his PhD in Evangelism & Missions from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in the spring of 2014. His dissertation focused on the writings of Dr. Neil T. Anderson (found at www.TrustworthyWord.com). His vision for Freedom In Christ is for a season of rapid, global expansion and visibility through social media with new digital content creation. Jonathan & Brittney have four daughters who they enjoy spending every spare minute they can with.

Alison began her new life in Christ in August of 1972 when a neighbor invited her to a small backyard V.B.S. with a handful of children. Hearing the Gospel for the first time at nine years old, she responded to the amazing truth that she could have a personal relationship with the God of the universe through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Over the years since then the Lord has lead her to serve Him in several areas. In earlier years as a foreign missionary in Japan, Korea, and the Philippine’s with YWAM, and later in Senegal, West Africa. She serves her in community as a Young Life leader and currently disciples a group of “20something” women in her home weekly.
Her passion for discipleship was fostered tremendously when she discovered Freedom In Christ Ministries in 2011. After completing her
FICM University course work, Alison received her certification as a ministry associate with Freedom In Christ Ministries in 2016. She serves the ministry currently as a CFMA, teacher, prayer team member and student coach.
Professionally, Alison is an artist/designer and has owned her own small business for 35 years. She lives in New York with her husband, Jim. They have one adult son.

Trenidy Davis

For ten years Trenidy served bi-vocationally as the Discipleship Pastor for two different churches in South Mississippi. In 2009 he was introduced to the ministry of Freedom in Christ and in 2016 became the Mississippi State Director for Freedom in Christ Ministries.
For 25 years Trenidy has worked in the Information Technology and Marketing departments for the Atlanta based, Southern Company.
He holds a master’s degree in Christian Education from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering Technology from the University of Southern Mississippi.
Trenidy and his wife, J.J., live near Hattiesburg, Mississippi with their three children.

Vision/Passion: Having personally benefitted from the message and ministry of FICM, she is passionate about sharing the message with others and was instrumental in starting one of the original freedom ministries. She has served on the FICM board since 1996.
Credentials: She graduated with a degree in Religious Studies from Wheaton College. Carolyn has been in prayer leadership since the beginning of FICM. She serves several other ministries in the role of intercessor. She enjoys her role as a grandmother to 4 wonderful grandchildren.

Vision: She is in private practice, SonLife Associates which she co-founded with her late husband, Dr. Stephen King (psychiatrist) As a Clinical Therapist she integrates biblical and psychological principles in her practice. She has a special interest in caring for professionals in ministry.
Credentials: Judith E. King is a graduate of the University of Toronto and Western Michigan University, where she received her MSW in 1985. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, National Association of Christians in Social Work and the American Association of Christian Counselors. She has written a number of published books including Released from Bondage with Dr. Neil Anderson. She is the designated North America member of the Freedom in Christ Ministries International Board.

Vision: I have been involved in teaching and helping others discover their freedom in Christ for almost 40 years and have used Neil’s books and materials about 25 of those years.I want to use my experience and understanding to help others find their identity and freedom in Christ. I have always had a passion to reach the business owner and help him understand the powerful impact a business can have when it is dedicated to God and advancing his Kingdom. I have seen the tremendous respect the business owner has on the world around him and the influence that comes from that respect.
Credentials: Matt began his career as an Investment Advisor in 1988. He has obtained his B.S. from the University of Louisiana at Monroe and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation.

Tammy Williams

Vision: Tammy has been involved in Freedom in Christ since 2011 and took on a Leadership Role as the Regional Director of Prayer in 2018. In 2020, she became the Regional Director of Ministry Relations. Tammy has an intense passion to help people walk in the Freedom Jesus died and rose to give them, especially young parents, teens and children.
Credentials: Tammy started out as a psychology major in college, but was quickly turned off by the intense indoctrination of a secular world view. Her Sophomore year, she changed her major and received a Bachelors degree from Angelo State University in Business. However, her heart and calling has always been to help others in times of need. She has been a Leader in the Moms in Prayer Ministry for 20 years. She is an avid intercessor as her mother was before she passed. Tammy has served alongside her husband Joe in Discipleship Ministries for over 30 years helping others find the “Abundant Life,” that Scripture shares in John 10:10. She enjoys leading Freedom in Christ Classes and helping churches establish Freedom in Christ Discipleship Ministries. She has 3 grown wonderful children and is looking forward to grandchildren soon in the years to come.
