Q. Can I run this screen saver on Windows 3.1?
A. No. It was designed for Windows 95 or newer only. We hope to have versions
for other operating systems including Macintosh in the future.
Q. Can I copy the screen saver for a friend?
A. Copyright law states that only the purchaser is the legal holder of the
software. Copying it is illegal and unethical. We have tried to make the price
reasonable enough for you to purchase multiple copies for others you may want to
give it to.
Q. Can I put the screen saver on both of my computers?
A. Yes. As long as you personally own them. This does not apply to corporate or
organizational use.
Q. My screen saver looks blotchy and the colors look weird. What's wrong?
A. Your screen color depth may be set to low. If you go to Start, Settings,
Control Panel, Display, you will see a tab called Settings. Set your Colors to
High Color or better.
Q. How can I order more to give to others?
A. The CD-Rom version is not currently available. You can purchase multiple registrations and email them to friends who
can download it for free off of the website.
Q. My screen occasionally freezes. What do I do?
A. We have noted that some programs, like Norton Utilities and Outlook 98, which access your hard drive at varying intervals, may cause your screen saver to lock up. If this occurs, hold down the Ctrl-Alt-Delete buttons and a screen will popup. Highlight the Who I am in Christ Screen saver (which should have a "not responding" statement next to it) and press "End Task." Your system should go back to normal.
We have also found that certain system configurations react to different transitions between images. If your system locks up on a particular transition, you can remove that transition. Go to Start, Settings, Control Panel, and Display. Go to the Screen Saver tab and click on Settings. Go to the Transitions tab and uncheck the transition that is causing the lockup. Or you can uncheck all of them and only pick one or two that you know work.
Q. How do I use the images as wallpaper on my system? (For new versions only)
A. Go to the Screen Saver Settings (see above to find Settings). Click on the Wallpaper tab. Select your favorite image. It's that simple.
